Consent Orders Template for a Draft Property Minute

Turn agreed property terms into an editable draft minute with a linked implementation schedule.

Matter details stay in this tab. Download your work before leaving.

This free consent order template turns entered financial-property terms into a numbered working minute and an implementation schedule for legal review.

Choose the court context and enter the parties’ labels. Include the clauses your instructions require, then replace the fictional wording with practitioner-selected terms.

The template preserves empty particulars as completion markers. It chooses neither the division of property nor the legal terms needed to achieve it.

Each included clause has an asset or account identifier, a responsible party, agreed timing and dependencies. The schedule uses the same order number as the minute.

Enter a transfer, payment or refinance term in its own clause. Use the default-steps clause for an agreed response to failure. The tool supplies no sale or enforcement remedy.

Blank party labels, clause wording and implementation fields appear in the missing-particulars list. Enter a confirmation of none where there is no dependency.

Paste separately advised superannuation wording into its own field. The draft preserves that text without generating splitting provisions or assessing trustee requirements.

These checks detect empty particulars. They do not assess whether wording identifies the correct party, achieves the agreement or is legally adequate.

The fictional example transfers Party A’s interest in the home to Party B and records a $125,000 payment from refinance funds.

The transfer depends on the refinance and payment. Timing remains empty. The refinance clause also needs its dependencies and the agreed response if refinancing fails.

Before using the draft, obtain instructions on the completion deadline and sequence. Record who must act if finance is refused and what the parties have agreed happens next.

For an Australian property matter, choose the relevant court context. This changes the context line only. The export remains a working document requiring official formatting.

Review the complete preview before copying or downloading it. You can edit the numbered minute, implementation schedule and missing-particulars list in the same editor.

Export preserves the current editor text. If you replace a clause, review its linked schedule entry and missing-particulars list too. Manual edits receive no automatic completeness check.

Changing an instruction regenerates the document and replaces manual edits. Download edited work before returning to the input fields.

“Download editable text” saves a plain-text file for further editing. Missing particulars remain in that file so unresolved instructions remain visible.

Your browser handles the entered information locally. This tool stores no browser copy. Reloading clears changes, and “Reset example” restores the fictional inputs.

“Clear particulars” empties entered text and manual edits while retaining the court context and clause choices. A downloaded file remains on your device.

The draft minute is one working document. Court-made orders and the official application are separate. Read about consent orders for their legal effect.

The responsible practitioner must check the agreed instructions, disclosure and legal effect. Check the selected court’s official requirements before using any exported terms.

The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) guidance and Family Court of Western Australia guidance set their own requirements for proposed orders.

Use the application for consent orders guide for the separate filing task. An empty missing-particulars list certifies neither validity nor court approval.
