Use these free PDF editing tools to amend an internally prepared draft and download a separate working copy. Keep bank-issued records unchanged as evidence.

The object list contains supported text objects and editable text form fields. Simple text objects use a standard Helvetica, Times or Courier font with plain English characters. Their replacement must fit within the original text’s width.

Scanned text, embedded fonts and complex text arrangements are unsupported. A warning identifies objects the editor cannot change. Unsupported replacements stop the export without covering the original text.

Add text or a PNG or JPG inside a chosen page box. The text uses Helvetica. Images keep their proportions within the box. Positions are PDF points measured from the page’s bottom left.

Preview Text and Form Changes

The before and after canvases show the selected page from the original and the saved copy. Check the line breaks and placement before downloading.

Text-object replacement preserves the supported font and size. Form-field replacement uses Helvetica at 12 points, as stated beside the field. The editor refuses lines that exceed the field’s dimensions.

The example contains “Draft amount 1200” and a multiline notes field. Replace the amount with “Draft amount 1100” to keep the same font and size. Select the notes field to try a two-line replacement.

Ligatures such as a joined “fi” glyph, non-English characters and unsupported font encodings are refused. Signed PDFs, encrypted files and documents with active opening actions are also refused.

Export and Compare the Copy

PDF editing tools update content inside a PDF by changing supported text instructions or form values. This editor changes the selected object’s text data directly and saves a new file.

Before enabling downloads, the editor reopens the saved PDF. It checks replacement text extraction and saved form values. New text is checked through text extraction too. The after preview renders those saved bytes.

Each preview applies one change to the retained original. To make another change to the edited result, download it and load that working copy. The JSON change summary records the source fingerprint, target, original value and replacement.

Keep the summary privately with the original. Open the downloaded PDF in another reader and compare every affected page. Check selectable text and form values separately from appearance.

This tool does not perform OCR or secure redaction. Use the PDF redaction tool to remove sensitive content from a disclosure copy.
