This free PDF rotate tool saves quarter-turn changes into a separate PDF. Choose your local file, then select the page thumbnails you want to turn. All pages start selected.

Turn clockwise adds 90 degrees to the selected pages. Turn anticlockwise subtracts 90 degrees. Use different selections to correct pages facing different directions. Four turns return a page to its starting orientation.

For example, select page 2 of a four-page statement and turn it clockwise once. Page 2 turns 90 degrees while pages 1, 3 and 4 keep their original orientation. The output still contains four pages in the same order.

The thumbnails show the saved orientation you are preparing, including rotation already present in the source PDF. Landscape pages keep their original page size. Reset rotations restores the source orientations.

Check the Exported Orientation

Review every changed thumbnail, then select Create rotated PDF. The tool reopens its saved bytes and checks page count, page sequence and rotation before it creates a download.

Download the working copy and reopen it in your PDF viewer. Confirm that each changed page reads upright. Compare the first and last pages with the source and check any sideways tables.

A viewer’s rotate-display command can change only the view for that session. This tool writes the rotation into the exported PDF. Keep the original alongside the corrected copy.

Rotation does not recognise text or straighten a scan tilted by a few degrees. The copy retains document content and metadata, so it does not remove sensitive information. Changing a digitally signed PDF invalidates its signatures. Check forms and annotations visually before relying on the copy.
